Ten ways to spend the day
The geyser is the headline. Across ten acres you'll also find gardens, animals, a museum, mineral water and wide lawns — a calm, all-day escape.
The geyser
One of only three on Earth
In the early days of the National Geographic Society, Old Faithful Geyser of California was named one of only three ‘faithful’ geysers in the world. About every 20 to 40 minutes it sends a column of steam and scalding water 60 to 100 feet skyward — and rainbows often form in the mist, against the Palisades and Robert Louis Stevenson State Park.
It has also proven a faithful predictor of earthquakes, its rhythm shifting days before major quakes across Northern California.

Heritage animal farm
Goats, sheep & llamas
Our farm features the famous Tennessee Fainting Goats, Jacob’s Four-Horn Sheep and Guard Llamas — and we often have new arrivals. Meet them up close in a shaded grove built for families, and learn the story behind each breed.
